Astraga is a solitaire set with a center stone of your choice (sapphire, ruby, emerald, diamond...). This model is customizable in white, yellow or pink gold 750‰ or platinum 950‰. Astraga stands out from other solitaires with its design setting reminiscent of the petals of a flower.
Whether you wear them every day or just occasionally, jewelry is a precious object that requires a certain amount of attention. That's why Maison Salmon offers you a complete after-sales service, free for life.
Whether it's a surprise, a mail-order purchase or over the years, the size you've chosen may no longer fit. That's why we offer you up to three size adjustments over time, up to a maximum of three different numbers. Please keep this service to a minimum, however, as it may weaken your jewelry.
After-sales service also includes jewelry cleaning, i.e. polishing to remove micro-scratches and restore the metal's shine, and rhodium plating to whiten white gold jewelry. This service is recommended every 3 years. We also offer interior engraving in the typography of your choice, as well as an annual check of the setting of your stones.
Defining your finger size is not as simple as you might think. Depending on the temperature, winter or summer, we don't have quite the same size. So you need to find the right compromise. What's more, we don't all wear rings in the same way: depending on our morphology, the ring will be more or less resistant, more or less loose when worn...
What's essential, despite these differences, is to always have a slight resistance when you remove your jewel to avoid unconsciously losing it. To help you with this, we offer to send you, free of charge a ring gauge to take your size from home.
For your part, you can easily care for your jewelry when it's adorned with stones. Simply soak your jewel in warm, soapy water for several hours. Then gently scrub your stones with a soft bristle brush. You may wish to place more emphasis on the back of the center stone. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a cloth or small chamois.
This removes any impurities (dust, pollution, cream, etc.) that may have crept under the stones, as well as any small traces that may be visible on the stone. In our boutique, we can perform the same stone cleaning in just a few minutes.

I was looking for a ring with 2 stones to symbolize the birth of my 2 daughters - impossible to find in a classic boutique - so I turned to custom jewelry, and I can only recommend Joaillier du Marais - a family business where you'll meet father, son and daughter in the showroom - not forgetting the grandfather's hallmark on all the jewelry.
We were extremely well received by Guillaume (the son) who is a real enthusiast and took the time to explain all the stages of manufacture and their know-how. I'm not going to reveal everything, so go ahead!
The 3D drawing and the resin prototype are a great help in getting your head around the project. Guillaume gave us excellent advice on the design of the ring, and was very responsive.
The price is very reasonable, even cheaper than the big chains, even though you get a unique piece of jewelry. What's more, Joaillier du Marais offers lifetime maintenance, which is unique on the market.
I can't wait to come back with some antique jewelry to bring up to date.
