Jewelry is a precious witness to moments in our lives or to people we hold dear. Old family heirlooms and heirlooms can be old-fashioned, broken or simply impersonal, so we can give them a new look. Each jewelry transformation offers the opportunity to create a new piece of jewelry while preserving the history of the old... Here, our customer wanted to transform this wedding and engagement ring duo in yellow gold 750 thousandths and diamonds into a ravishing Marguerite ring, our model Impératricein pink gold 750 thousandths.

The stones are then removed and set aside for the new frame, while the metal can either be returned to the customer, offered as a buy-back and deducted from the final amount, or melted down and integrated, in certain cases only. Once the model has been validated, the resin is printed and sent to the foundry.

This is followed by casting, catching, pre-polishing, setting (with the customer's stones), polishing and finally inspection. The jewel is finished and ready to be handed over to its owner!

We offer a different after-sales service for our Jewelry Transformation service. In fact, all jewelry made in whole or in part from stones or metal not sourced from Maison Salmon will not benefit from a lifetime of after-sales service. The only service offered will be a sizing, if feasible, and the first maintenance of the jewel, i.e. polishing, rhodium plating for white gold jewels, and the first verification of the setting. Engraving inside the rings will be offered, if feasible.
