When you purchase a piece of Maison Salmon jewelry, we are pleased to offer you a complete after-sales service, free of charge for life! Nevertheless, to ensure the technical and aesthetic integrity of your jewel, some of the services we offer are not always recommended or feasible, or only under certain conditions that we can discuss together. Maintenance

Your jewels are precious objects that live with you every day, so they require special care and attention. La Maison Salmon is pleased to offer you a complete after-sales service, free of charge for life. You can entrust your jewelry to us for maintenance every three years. We will clean the stones and polish the metal to remove micro-scratches and restore its shine. We can also perform rhodium plating to remove yellowing from white gold jewelry. In terms of lead time, you'll need to allow five to ten working days, depending on the work involved. To take advantage of this service, you'll need to make an appointment in advance.

Check

If your jewelry is set with stones, we also offer a setting check, which we recommend every two years. This allows us to observe the stones and prevent future risks. If a stone is lost, we offer to replace it within five years, free of charge. However, this guarantee will no longer apply if, during this period, the ring has been cut and/or mishandled or subjected to visible impact. In this case, replacement of the stone will be by quotation only. In terms of lead time, you'll need to allow five to ten working days, depending on the work involved. To take advantage of this service, you'll need to make an appointment in advance.

Sizing

If the size of your ring doesn't suit you, we offer you the possibility of adjusting it free of charge, either by increasing or decreasing it by up to three sizes. However, no more than three resizing operations are allowed throughout the life of the jewel. For models with stones, it is strongly recommended to make as few cuttings as possible, as this can damage the setting of the stones. It's important to know that some ring models can't be resized, or can only be resized to a maximum size: these include titanium, ceramic and carbon rings, as well as full-length rings with stones, and chased and diamond-effect models. To define your finger size, we invite you to visit one of our showrooms so that we can determine it together. If you can't come to one of our showrooms, we can send you a ring gauge and all the information you need to determine your finger size. Finding the perfect size is not really possible, as fingers vary according to temperature. The aim is to find the happy medium. Your ring may therefore feel slightly tight, or sometimes too loose. It is therefore preferable to wear your ring over several seasons before changing the size. As far as engraving is concerned, if you're not sure of your finger size, it's best to wait, as changing the size can damage the engraving. Even if it's possible to remove the engraving from a ring, there's always a loss of material.

Engravings

Would you like to add a symbolic message to the inside of a cherished ring? We know that jewelry often marks important events in your life. It's therefore possible to add a textual element such as a date, first names, initials or a personal phrase. We offer two types of typography: English or stick. You can choose your engraving on the day you confirm your order, or at a later date. For relatively thin rings, stick engraving is preferable to ensure legibility. If a ring is too thin, it may be impossible to engrave it. In this case, you will be informed in advance.
