Whether you wear them every day or just occasionally, jewelry is a precious object that requires a certain amount of attention. That's why Maison Salmon offers you a complete after-sales service, free for life.

Whether it's a surprise, a mail-order purchase or over the years, the size you've chosen may no longer fit. That's why we offer you up to three size adjustments over time, up to a maximum of three different numbers. Please keep this service to a minimum, however, as it may weaken your jewelry.

After-sales service also includes jewelry cleaning, i.e. polishing to remove micro-scratches and restore the metal's shine, and rhodium plating to whiten white gold jewelry. This service is recommended every 3 years. We also offer interior engraving in the typography of your choice, as well as an annual check of the setting of your stones.

Defining your finger size is not as simple as you might think. Depending on the temperature, winter or summer, we don't have quite the same size. So you need to find the right compromise. What's more, we don't all wear rings in the same way: depending on each person's morphology, there will be more or less resistance, more or less play when worn...

What's essential, despite these differences, is to always have a slight resistance when you remove your jewel to avoid unconsciously losing it. To help you with this, we offer to send you, free of charge a ring gauge to take your size from home.

For your part, you can easily care for your jewelry when it's adorned with stones. Simply soak your jewel in warm, soapy water for several hours. Then gently scrub your stones with a soft bristle brush. You may wish to place more emphasis on the back of the center stone. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a cloth or small chamois.

This removes any impurities (dust, pollution, cream, etc.) that may have crept under the stones, as well as any small traces that may be visible on the stone. In our boutique, we can perform the same stone cleaning in just a few minutes.

If you're a young couple, I don't have enough words to recommend this jewelry store. You will be treated with respect and kindness, and I know I will always remember this moment with great affection. My partner and I were looking for an engagement ring, and after several attempts in what seemed like every jewelry store in Paris, we decided to come to Le joaillier du Marais. It was late (shortly before closing time) and to top it all off, having just got off work, I looked more like a young, penniless student (sneakers and laptop backpack) than a customer not to be passed up. However, the welcome was very warm, and we were taken care of very quickly (despite the fact that we didn't know it was preferable to make an appointment). The person who took care of us listened attentively to our preferences and intentions. She was also tactful enough to ask me, if I wished, to write down a price range on a piece of paper, so as not to influence my partner's choice for something as personal as an engagement ring (in fact, she was the only jeweller to offer it to me). She answered all our questions with kindness and seriousness. She was able to pinpoint exactly the models that would appeal to us. We ended up with a ring that my partner fell in love with, both in terms of shape and stones (which we were able to modify and choose together). When I was handed the price (always discreetly on a small piece of paper) I was so pleased with the ring, and its quality while remaining within my price range, that I decided to pay in one go without hesitation. As we were closing up and being told how long it would take to prepare and create the ring, we let it slip that there was no problem with deadlines, and were about to take a photo of the ring to show the Japanese family, as my partner was returning to Japan very soon. Then, when we told her about this, she insisted that our order would be given priority so that my partner could have the pleasure of showing the engagement ring to her family. If all went well in the preparation of the ring, despite the short lead time, it could be ready before she left. And so we wouldn't have to wait until the next visit for the in-laws to lay eyes on it. Luckily, the ring was ready on time, and delighted both my partner and my entire Japanese family. When I asked the name of the person who had taken such good care of us, she replied with a big smile that it was the one on the store card. Choosing an engagement ring like a wedding band is an important moment for a couple, with emotional and symbolic significance that goes beyond the price of precious stones and materials.
